Who this is for
This service is used by students aged 13 and older, through an account created and controlled by their parent or guardian. Parents create student logins and consent to their child's use of the service.
What we collect
- Parent: email address.
- Student: name, email, birth year, and (optional) a recent official SAT/PSAT score provided by the parent.
- Exam activity: answers, timing, flags, and computed (provisional) scores.
- Technical: error logs and product-usage analytics.
How we use it
To provide the exam, generate provisional scores and progress reports, notify a parent when their student starts a test, and improve the service. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers (subprocessors)
We share data only with providers that operate the service on our behalf:
- Supabase — authentication & database.
- Upstash — temporary exam-session cache.
- Fly.io — application hosting.
- Sentry — error monitoring.
- PostHog — product analytics.
- Stripe — payment processing (only if/when you subscribe).
- [AI provider] — generating answer explanations (when enabled).
Children's privacy
Accounts for students are created by a parent/guardian, who consents on the student's behalf. Parents may review, correct, or request deletion of their student's data at any time by contacting us. We restrict registration to ages 13 and older.
Retention & deletion
Active exam-session data expires automatically (within hours). Account and results data is retained until a parent requests deletion or closes the account.
Security & changes
We use industry-standard measures to protect data but no system is perfectly secure. We may update this policy and will post changes here with a new effective date.
